Baum showed how people can quickly make changes to images with the program.

With one click, people can fix red eyes or blemishes. The application also generates a thumbnail of an image with various effects, like sepia tone, which people can click on to select.
Below the main image editing window, there is a timeline of thumbnail images that lets people view all the changes they've made to a photo and revert to older versions.

The features that got perhaps the most applause from Max attendees was the ability to selectively change colors in an image.

read full post at Adobe flashes more looks at online Photoshop Express

Adobe Photoshop Express online freeware

John Nack ,the senior product manager for Photoshop, has confirmed the development of Photoshop Express. By working with these "digital negatives," you can achieve the results you want with greater artistic control and flexibility while still maintaining the original "raw" files.

The Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in became the latest must-have tool for professional photographers when it was released in February 2003. This powerful plug-in has been updated to support more cameras and include more features, and is available as part of Adobe Photoshop CS3. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1.0 is now also available and is built upon the same powerful raw processing technology that is available in the camera raw plug-in.

The Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in (2.3 or higher) now also supports raw files in the DNG format. Find out more about the benefits of the Digital Negative, a publicly documented raw file format recently announced by Adobe.

Newly supported cameras for Camera Raw 4.0

Panasonic
Lumix DMC-FZ8

Support for the following cameras is included in Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom 1.0. Available for both Windows and Mac platforms, Photoshop Lightroom allows photographers to import, manage and present large volumes of digital photographs. Photoshop Lightroom includes several new innovative features that streamline digital photography workflows. Adobe is offering Photoshop Lightroom to all new customers at a special introductory price of $200 through April 30, 2007; it will later sell for $300: users of Photoshop Lightroom beta will have access to the program until its expiration on February 28, 2007. The application ships as a Universal Binary for native operation on both Intel- and PowerPC-based Macs; Adobe recommends at least a 1GHz G4 Mac running Mac OS X 10.4.3.

Adobe said that the tools and features in Photoshop Lightroom help photographers tailor their digital photography workflows. The Library and Develop modules have the organizing and editing features for image management and non-destructive editing, and Photoshop Lightroom makes it easy to send images to and from Photoshop for pixel editing. Once editing is complete, users can showcase their images in Photoshop Lightroom with the Slideshow, Print and Web modules.

Photoshop digital camera raw 3.7

The camera raw functionality in Adobe® Photoshop® software provides fast and easy access within Photoshop to the "raw" image formats produced by many leading professional and midrange digital cameras. By working with these "digital negatives," you can achieve the results you want with greater artistic control and flexibility while still maintaining the original "raw" files.

The Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in became the latest must-have tool for professional photographers when it was released in February 2003. This powerful plug-in has been updated to support more cameras and include more features, and is available as part of Adobe Photoshop CS2.

Support for the following cameras has been added from Camera Raw 3.6 to 3.7.

Nikon
D40

Pentax
K10D (PEF)

This new version of the Camera Raw plug-in replaces the original Camera Raw plug-in that was installed with Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 and 5.0 software. Visit the Camera Raw page for a complete list of supported cameras.

Get the camera raw update 3.7 from adobe download site

Bridge CS3 beta 2 updater released

For the first time ever, Adobe is delivering a widely available Photoshop CS3 beta to enable customers to more easily transition to the latest hardware platforms, particularly Apple's new Intel based systems. The beta is available as a Universal Binary for the Macintosh platform as well for Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista computers, with the final shipping release of Adobe Photoshop CS3 planned for spring 2007.

Adobe has a long-standing commitment to the Mac community and this release is Adobe's way of delivering native performance on Intel based systems many months earlier than we otherwise could have done. We have no doubt, however, that all of our customers will enjoy exploring the new Photoshop CS3 beta and seeing some of the new features we have in store. The full application is not yet complete; but, many of the additions to the product are fully implemented and ready for you to try and discuss.

The Photoshop CS3 beta is available in English only but to Photoshop CS2 users worldwide. It is available to licensed users of either the Photoshop CS2 (full, upgrade, and education), Adobe Creative Suite 2 Standard or Premium (full, upgrade, and education), Adobe Production Studio Standard and Premium (full, upgrade, and education), Adobe Video Bundle (full, upgrade, and education) or Adobe Web Bundle (full, upgrade, and education). You will need to provide your Photoshop CS2, Creative Suite, Production Studio or Bundle serial number in order to get a Photoshop CS3 beta serial number, enabling you to activate the Photoshop beta and use it beyond the two-day grace period.

Lynda Photoshop CS3 Beta One-on-One Preview

Yeah, Lynda did it again!!! It is one single column now. Concerning the palette menu, I can't tell if anything is missing, since I don't use photoshop throughly like some graphic designers do. Next what I noticed is the "Save for Web" menu has been changed for "Save for Web & Device." It seems like Adobe is providing the utilities for graphic designers to target embedded devices such as PDAs and cell phones.

Click here to download photoshop CS3 video tour or visit Letgetdugg

Adobe Releases Beta Version of Photoshop CS3

Here is the Press release

Company Also Previews Adobe Bridge and All-New Adobe Device Central
SAN JOSE, Calif. - Dec. 14, 2006 - Adobe Systems Incorporated

(Nasdaq:ADBE) will introduce a beta version of Adobe Photoshop CS3 software, the next release of the world standard in digital imaging, on Friday, December 15th. Adobe is delivering a widely available Photoshop CS3 beta to enable customers to more easily transition to the latest hardware platforms, particularly Apple's new Intel-based systems. The software can be downloaded at: http://labs.adobe.com/, in the early hours Pacific Standard Time on December 15.

Packed with new features, Photoshop CS3 beta also includes a pre-release version of a major upgrade to Adobe Bridge, as well as a preview release of the all-new Adobe Device Central. This new tool, integrated in the Photoshop CS3 beta, simplifies and accelerates the creation of mobile content through a preview environment and built-in device profiles.

"This is an exciting time for the Mac, and Adobe wanted to ease the move to new Intel-based systems with a preview release of Photoshop CS3," said John Loiacono, senior vice president of Creative Solutions Business Unit at Adobe. "We didn't want to leave Windows customers out of the party, so the beta is available to everyone in the creative industry's most passionate user community -- no matter what their platform choice.

We still have some surprises in store, but this beta gives customers an early chance to see the power of another great Photoshop release, optimized and tuned to run natively on the latest hardware and operating systems."

To utilize Adobe Photoshop CS3 beta, customers require a serial number from either Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Creative Suite(r) 2, Adobe Creative Suite Production Studio, Adobe Design Bundle, Adobe Web Bundle or Adobe Video Bundle.
